The Teenage Engineering OP–XY is a dynamic performance sequencer, synthesizer and sampler, inspired by the off-road subcultures of dance music worldwide. It creates music raw, hard, and deliberate. Its core workflow is step sequencing, balancing precision against creative swing. Stack compositions like building blocks, then twist them with punch-in FX. A new chord progression brain lets your hands do the talking.
NO STRINGS ATTACHED
Skip the entanglements and enjoy full cruise control connectivity, keeping the whole studio in steady dialogue. A powerful multi-out port switches between four outputs, so you can drive your eurorack, tighten up drums, sequence synths, and command any pedal.
COMMAND THE STAGE
A new multi-sampler pulls samples from several “zones” simultaneously, backed by finely tuned synth engines with more power than ever, geometric visuals to keep your track straight until you twist it, and a library of punch-in FX for instant performance. A “gyroscope” lets you bring tracks in and out just by moving the device.
ADONIS IN ANODIZED ALUMINUM
OP–XY comes in a matte black anodized aluminum finish with a slim, lightweight build that travels well. A dual CPU system inside delivers ultra-fast processing and efficiency, so you can go deeper, further, for longer.
